Dr Jakub Sochacki

Dear Sirs,

Thank you for the opportunity to introduce myself as a new General Practitioner in Fairgreen Surgery. My name is Dr Jakub Sochacki.

I graduated from the top university in Poland (Medical University of Warsaw) in 2012. As part of my training, I spent 1.5 years in the prestigious University of Cologne, Germany.

During my studies I received a scholarship. After my graduation, I specialised in primary care medicine and qualified as a GP. During this time, I completed a worldwide renowned postgraduate diploma in Aesthetic Medicine at Medical University of Warsaw.

One of my advantages is that I have gathered great experience from studying and working in several countries. As a result, I am very experienced in caring for a diverse range of patients of all ages with wide range of medical problems.

With regard to my practice, I believe in taking a holistic approach to all my patents. In addition to general GP consultations, I have a keen interest in managing disorders of the heart. I also have a great interest in paediatrics, and treat children of all ages, from infant to teenager.

Having completed further studies in aesthetic medicine, I specialize in an aesthetic medicine and offer diagnosis and treatment of common skin disease, such as eczema, psoriasis and acne.

Dear Sirs,

I am a CORU registered Chartered Physiotherapist graduated from India in 2003 and has been a part of the various organisations to excel my career in Musculoskeletal role. Completing my post graduation in 2006, and having over 12 years experience in treating patients with musculoskeletal, geriatric, paediatric Musculoskeletal, spine specialities. I recently have upgraded my knowledge in field of women’s health issues, pelvic floor dysfunctions and prolapse. I work primarily with back issues. I hold certifications in manual therapy, Taping, dry needling, and osteopathy.

I was given the gold Medal award by the Indian Spinal Injury Centre for my research on Spasticity in Hemiplegics. I have my deep interest in correcting lumbar shift, Kyphosis and scoliosis based on Schroth approach, neurological discomfort, and facet lock spine. I also offer Osteopathy for spinal alignment and limb issues. I have special interest in dealing with Post partum back pain problems and giving prenatal and postnatal guidance.

I'm experienced in biomechanical assessment and to meet patient’s needs. Patient, adult/child is assessed on the basis of foot alignment, including gait assessment in non-weightbearing and weight bearing, to identify posture. Depending on the results from this assessment, Orthotics/insoles could be suggested to correct the alignment.

 

 

Piotr Bąkowski

Dear Sirs,

My name is Piotr Bąkowski. I am a graduate of the Faculty of Physiotherapy at the Academy of Physical Education in Warsaw. I have been working as a physiotherapist for over 25 years. In the last several years in Poland I have worked in large medical companies such as Medicover, Damian Medical Centre and in smaller clinics such as Linmed.

I deal with the therapy of children from the age of 4 and adults. I help people with pain in the spine, peripheral joints (hips, knees feet, shoulders, elbows, hands), after sports injuries and surgeries, with strains related to sitting or lifting.

In my work with the patient, I carry out a detailed history and examination. If necessary, I use manual therapy, massage, I teach individually selected exercises. I place great emphasis on learning the principles of ergonomics. If necessary, I do taping and recommend orthopaedic supplies. I also do temporomandibular joint therapy (e.g. for bruxism) and make orthotics.

In my personal life, I am a husband, a dad of 10. I run and cycle regularly. I enjoy hiking. I read a lot.

I welcome people with ailments, but also those who want to prevent pain in the future. I examine children's posture and recommend corrective exercises.

I believe that by taking care of your posture, simple stretching and stabilising exercises, you can avoid many ailments in the years to come.

I’m Natalia – a passionate advocate of healthy eating, physical activity, and psychology.

As a dietitian, I work within the field of psychodietetics. Guided by a holistic approach to dietary therapy, I treat each patient individually.
